Life transitions are normal life periods that stress the mind and emotions and require adaptations to new situations. This adaptation to the new tasks brought in by age and developmental change, by change of employment, or migration, etc. is stressful because it produces uncertainty. It often requires a change in your world view and in your self-valuation. It also necessitates curiosity to learn new ways of behavior and to experience new challenges. I discuss some of the most important life transitions below.
